The Anarchic Ownership License is intended to be a simple aide to publishing any material that you've created and in which you want to retain some tenuous intellectual involvement. As such its terms are very simple and mainly related to your freedom of speech regarding abuses of your material by third parties seeking to freeload off of your creativity.
- The Creators [henceforth "we", "ourselves"] of the material published under this license [henceforth "our stuff"] require The Recipient of the published material [henceforth "you"] to do anything you feel like doing with our stuff so long as you do not make any claims or representations to the effect that you are the creator of our stuff.
- We will not be responsible for any consequences arising from what you choose to either do or not do with our stuff.
- You agree that you are on your own and responsible for your own actions where these are in any way concerned with our stuff.
- If you make use of our stuff as part of any derivative work you must publically credit ourselves and the contribution made by our stuff. If you choose not to provide such public credit then we have the right to call you any appropriate set of derogatory or pejorative terms [henceforth "dis you"]
- in any media that we choose without it constituting any form of slander, libel or defamation. You accept that we will dis you until such time as you publically recognise our contribution to your work.
- You may make money from the distribution of our stuff so long as you do not represent our stuff as the work of anybody other than ourselves. Good luck trying, considering it's freely available.
- No terms of this license are binding on derivative works deemed to legally constitute an original work. We are fuzzy on where this boundary falls but are certain that our lawyers [henceforth "the rottweilers"] will use due legal process to clarify the matter if necessary. You will know if we feel the need to set the rottweilers on you as we shall dis you as explained previously.
- This agreement is governed by the Laws of England and Wales. And yes, we do see the irony in that.
